Custom jewellery is highly symbolic and emotional. Reusing old gold and gemstones to create new more fitting pieces, is a way to honour the past while living in the present. Once the design work has been decided upon, we’ll fill you in on how to securely ship your vintage jewelry to our studio.

First Meeting
Book a meeting to share your engagement ring ideas, timeline and budget.
Creation
See sketched designs and estimates and give us feedback. We’ll revise until we’ve nailed the design and source additional stones if needed.
Production
Your ring is architected and precisely engineered with CAD, cast in metal, and the stones are set by hand.
OUR PROCESS
Custom design piece takes approximately 4-6 weeks from the first concept sketch/consultation to the finished piece.
Once the first meeting has concluded, a design plan and a quote will be provided for the project.
CUSTOM DESIGN FAQ
How long does a custom design project take?
Typically, your custom design will be in your hands in 3 – 4 weeks after we’ve finalized your design. However, because each project varies, the timeline can sometimes be shorter or longer depending upon complexity of design.
Can I use my own diamonds, old-jewelry or gemstones in your custom work?
Yes, absolutely! We often recreate beautiful new pieces using customer supplied materials. During your consultation let us know this is something you want to explore.
How much is my custom design going to cost?
Since each project starts off from scratch it’s difficult to know how much your piece is going to cost without having all the details. The best way to get an estimate is to get started with a consultation, most times we can provide a rough estimate to help keep the process moving forward. Once we have all the details, we can provide an exact price.
When can I see my design? Can I see it before I pay?
We discuss your design and create price estimates at no cost! We require a 25% deposit prior to producing 3D CAD renderings of your design. The deposit will go towards the final cost of your piece. The 3D CAD renderings are typically presented within 5–7 business days.
Will I pay before I start creating my piece?
Yes, we require you to pay 25% before 3D designs, another 25% to start creating after you confirm the designs, and 50% remaining on delivery of your piece.
What’s your refund/return policy on custom design?
Since each piece is custom made-to-order we cannot accept returns or refunds. If you are unhappy with the finished piece, please contact us so we can work with you to best resolve the issue.
